Sex trade worker attacked and sexually assaulted in Hamilton

Hamilton police are issuing a safety alert after a sex trade worker was attacked and sexually assaulted in Hamilton.Police say a man approached a woman around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday while she was standing alone on Barton St. near Birch Ave.The victim and the suspect walked to a secluded area a few blocks away where she was physically attacked and sexually assaulted by the man.He is described as having a dark complexion, in his 20’s to early 30’s, about 5’7”, with a heavy build, short black hair and black scruffy facial hair. Teenage girls hospitalised with burns after aerosol can explosion

first_imgFOUR TEENAGE GIRLS have been hospitalised after an aerosol can exploded at a house in Drogheda this afternoon.Gardaí say that the incident happened at about 4.15 pm with the girls aged between 12-14 years taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.All four have since been transferred to the National Children’s Hospital in Tallaght and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin with burn injuries.The explosion is understood to have caused extensive internal structural damage to the house.Investigations are ongoing.Read: Three teens taken to hospital after swimming accident >last_img
