Some, however, might be in dire need of a PC upgrade. A mobile PC, that is, even before Google and, now, Huawei had its time on stage, Microsoft took the spotlight to reveal its latest Surface products. Many of those have been leaked beforehand though at least one accessory came as a complete surprise. Of course, that was just the announcemnt. Fortunately for Surface fans and would be Surface fans, the wait is over now that at least two of these devices are finally on Microsoft Stores shelves. Depending who you ask, the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 might be the best Surfaces yet or a disappointment. Both, of course, are true upgrades in their respective product lines. The Surface Pro 6, in particular boasts of being the first of its kin to get a quad-core processor. Both Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 get the latest 8th gen Intel Core offerings.On the other hand, not much else has changed, especially in design. The two do have a new matte black finish to it but that pretty much it. A Blush pink version of the Surface Laptop 2 has also been launched exclusively in China. Other than that, it’s almost the same. The time for radical and disruptive changes are over and consumers can expect more solid, stable, and reliable upgrades moving forward. Though no one would probably mind if Microsoft snuck in a USB-C port along the way.Both the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 are now available in select countries, including Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and United States.
