The Realme X2 Pro is the company’s first flagship smartphone that touts a Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, 90Hz display and 50W SuperVOOC fast charging. Realme X2 Pro will launch in India next month to take on the OnePlus 7T, Redmi K20 and Asus ROG Phone 2.Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth had previously revealed that the Realme X2 Pro would launch in India in December. However, in a tweet on Tuesday, Sheth asked Realme fans if they wanted to see the Realme X2 Pro in India first or the Realme XT 730G. It seems the popular choice was the Realme X2 Pro, which is why the company moved up the launch date to November 20. The Realme XT 730G will launch in December. Sheth is also teasing disruptive prices for the Realme X2 Pro in India. In China, the Realme X2 Pro starts at CNY 2,599 (approx Rs 26,100) for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It has also been launched in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB variants that are priced at CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 28,100) and CNY 3,199 (approx Rs 32,200), respectively.This suggests the Realme X2 Pro could launch in India under Rs 30,000, making it the most affordable Snapdragon 855 Plus-powered smartphone. The OnePlus 7T and Asus ROG Phone 2 are both priced under Rs 40,000.Realme X2 Pro specificationsRealme X2 Pro packs tons of high-end features. It sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ (2400×1080) Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate as seen on the OnePlus 7T. The waterdrop display gets a Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top and the rear panel also gets a curved glass finish. Realme X2 Pro has launched in China in gradient Luna and Poseidon Blue colours.The smartphone is powered by a 2.9GHz Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset based on a 7nm process. The flagship processor is equipped with an Adreno 640 GPU and paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Realme X2 Pro also comes with up to 256GB of internal storage.Additionally, the Realme X2 Pro gets a 64MP quad camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with 20x hybrid zoom support, 8MP super wide-angle lens and macro lens.
